Our political system is supposed to represent their people.

It's just really sad that we've allowed our representatives to represent corporations, special interest groups and the like, since there is no money to made in just representing your constituents.

We allow those who write laws and policies to have financial stake in companies that would stand to benefit from said policies and laws.

We've allowed our judges to selectively enforce laws and allowed our enemy to pack courts with subjective thinkers.
