Dead Australian pilots, 1 in 2019, 6 in 2020, 111 in 2021. I hope this is wrong.

Looks like you have to be a member to download the latest issue of this. And these are U.S. carriers I'm seeing in the list, no?
Yes, these are USA pilots, not Australia.
(That's the 3rd out of the my last 8 posts where I screwed up. It must be the Smartphone) 🤔
Needs context. Is that a comprehensive list of all dead pilots? Or a list of names submitted by the community? The latter would suffer from recency bias, which would explain the numbers.
There is no Northwest Airlines anymore though. Just a random search of one of the deceased indicates he was a retired NW airlines pilot 96 when he died. This needs more research I think http://pcnflightwest.blogspot.com/2021/11/palrwnwa-capt-perry-t-dove.html
I found the same on 2 I checked. 88 & 84.

I did do a check on two of them before I posted this and they checked out. I'll do two more.
Perry Dove seems to be a mystery.
This is from a magazine that is published monthly from ALPA (AirLine Pilot’s Association.) ALPA is the US’s biggest pilot union. I am not sure how the list is complied.
How horrifying. A USA list is probably equally bad
These are USA pilots, not Australian.
Wow, right there in front of our eyes.
