Well one thing he did for me was to learn a lot more history. If you follow him on TS, he got us thinking about Kepler. I knew Kepler's 3 laws from school but I never learned about how Kepler arrived at them. It took him a lifetime. What Clif does is he gets you to think (he doesn't spoon feed you). And that is Clif's number one message - learn how to think.
