The lawfare outcome was what I was alluding to by mentioning that the parents have inexplicable amounts of capital available to them, to launch and drag out any suit they want to the point where the counterparty was either bankrupt, or is forced to settlement before reaching that point. It doesn't mean anyone is in the right or in the wrong, merely that they have heftier finances.

But thanks for the info, I hadn't heard of this until now. A disappointing way that things ended, but predictably so.
