I dislike the two of them immensely, but I do want to make sure we aren't just posting lies here as the truth is bad enough. Here's what we know:

First of all, their age difference is only 8 1/2 years, not 15. Joe's wife died in 1972 when Jill was 21. I doubt they'd take that photo of the two of them cuddled up if his wife had been alive.

According to published sources Jill married her first husband Bill Stevenson in 1970 when Jill was 19.

Her ex-hubby claimed that both he and his then-wife, Jill helped Joe Biden secure his senate seat during his first election in 1972 before his wife died in the car accident.  Jill would have been 21.

Bill Stevenson stated, "Jill and I sat in the Bidens' kitchen," the Delaware businessman told the publication. "'We worked on his campaign." Stevenson also claimed that he not only donated his time, but also his money to Joe's win. "I gave $10,900 to his first campaign — in cash." Soon thereafter, Joe's first wife Neilia died in a car accident. An unverified rumor spread that she had just learned her husband was having an affair before getting behind the wheel (and may have been drinking). Sometime after that, Jill helped out Joe with 'babysitting' and other 'campaign' duties.

In August of 1974, Jill was 'babysitting Joe's kids' according to her ex-husband who later learned she'd been in a fender bender three months earlier when she let Joe drive the corvette her husband had bought her. She failed to tell her husband of the accident or that Joe had been driving. The man they hit ended up telling Bill of the accident. Bill had already heard rumors about the two of them from some of their friends and says he began divorce proceedings soon after learning of this latest information.

HOWEVER, Jill's wiki page claims she didn't even meet Joe until 1975, AFTER HER DIVORCE FROM HER FIRST HUSBAND.
