Most (maybe all but I'm not sure) of the covers on every issue of Vogue are trans.
I might spoil the movie for some, but I've seen it once now and loved it and am seeing it again this week. Top Gun Maverick. Both Tom Cruise and Jennifer Connelly. Still love how much Cruise respects the hard-earned money spent by those who watch his movies (does his own stunts, really cares about the movie being as great as possible), but the truth is hard to swallow sometimes.
And then there's the latest movie star playing Superman...
If you have access to it go to around the 40:30 mark in the "Mission Impossible: Fallout" movie where Cruise, Cavill, and Kirby are walking out of the building they just fought their way out of. Pause where you can see all 3 of them from the side and look who has the T-Rex arms vs. the long dangly ones. This is everywhere in hollywood.
Trans men (I know I'm using the term "men" loosely) get T-Rex arms because they need to build a lot of muscle (including back muscle) to pull off the charade. T-Rex arms are one of the resulting giveaways.
I know , what amazes me is even people on here don't believe it ! I was in the industry I saw many, it was something most knew, but didn't talk about, we knew it was dangerous to say anything ,, the dudes got more famous than the real girls !
Yep. Big Mike is easy for people here. The Williams sisters, (both of them), now we're flirting with blasphemy.
This is fun. I know you already know about Thor, Lois Lane (talking about the current movie actors), "Steve Trevor" (in the Wonder Woman movies). Oh, this will likely trigger the generation older than me (I'm 59) - Audrey Hepburn (100%).
The Hollywood list is shorter if you ask who isn't.
Not 100% sure about the "men", but at least 2 of the 3 (could be all 3) "women" in the cast of the TV show Friends.
Princess Diaries Movie - yep BOTH Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.
Here is a fun video of Helen Reddy about 10 years after "I Am Women" was first released (it's always harder to keep up the charade as they age):
... just look at the 2:24 mark as she "spreads her lovin' arms (and massive muscular broad shoulders) across the land". ; -) Square jaw, massive neck, the whole 9 yards.
I was one of those kids who when I was first made aware of "The Emperor's New Cloths" fable I didn't think "aww that's a good lesson - what an interesting story". Instead (even as a little kid) I was FURIOUS at the townspeople for the mental abuse they were putting the kid through who had the guts to speak the truth. The truth is the truth. I guess I've always preferred to let the evidence speak for itself - now matter how uncomfortable it might be.
Nice to chat with a like-minded pede.
Edit: Not just nice to chat, but also thank you because as you are someone in the industry I really appreciate the confirmation. I already knew I wasn't crazy, but when you are surrounded by almost exclusive deniers (sometimes verbally hostile) it's great to have support from an insider like you.
