Wow, 90%? That's an outrageously massive number. Even 50% sounds outrageously high. Heck, if it were only 10%, that would be double what Twit execs say it is.
The funny thing is, I don't personally know anybody that uses Twitter, and I know hundreds of folks in the tech/internet/ecom space having worked within it for some 20 years. That could be telling...
I'd say anywhere near 20% is grounds for complete deal termination. If it's anywhere near 50%, that's game over for Twitter as we know it. If it's really 90% or close, that's a dagger in the heart of mainstream social media across multiple platforms.
I came back to Twitter after Elon announced his plans to buy it. I was unbanned on my original account and everything. But...slowly it became obvious that even the mass majority of MAGA accounts were bots. Haven't been back for over a month and there isn't a single thing that I feel like I'm missing because of it.
Is that right? Even the MAGA accounts huh? How interesting!
I was more of an opportunistic meme-bomber back in the 2018-2019 meme warfare time frame. That's all I used my account for. I didn't try to "get a following" so I have no real feel for it. I ruffled a few feathers from time to time and had quite a few back and forth arguments. It would be hard for me to believe that 9 out of 10 of those arguments were with bots. But hey, maybe....maybe. They were certainly incapable of understanding even a modicum of the common sense points the meme was making.....sigh....haha.

It's definitely over 50%
Hahaha, if so, they're utterly finished. What a complete joke!

One can hope.
