It's getting to our pets. They pick up on stress... but we really aren't that distressed... or I should say any more stressed than normal. But THIS -- this is B-A-D. Every one of our dogs is in distress... showing up as Stress Colitis.
Sorry to have to describe it - but this IS a research site. So, stress colitis reveals itself in #2. It's mucousy and clear to milky translucent goo. And yes, they cannot hold it like they normally do for our walks.
Could it be that the demonic distress in the unseen world is seeping through to the very keen senses of our pets? I remember when our cat would go nuts about half an hour before an earthquake (Alaska and also N. Carolina)
If your pets are out-of-sync, too -- then I may be onto something here. In the meantime - I'm praying for each of you, my Frens. Plus, it's my birthday - stepping in poo was not how I expected to wake up to the glorious number 59.
yes, I've noticed this too, and wish i could share a picture of my cats. they used to go outside, now they stay inside and eat all day, a couple of chubbies! And then they complain if their food dish is empty. this is a mama cat and her son, and she used to hunt on her own, bring us presents. now she never goes out.
My cats are doing the opposite of their history. The two that were in a lot now are out, one of them 24/7. The third cat, who used to spend most of her time outside in the summer, is now in most of the time. This has been going on since some time in late May or early June. Their food intake seems to be the same, though.
I live way out in the country where it's peaceful and quiet, and haven't changed a thing in my routine, so they've not been exposed to any more observable stress than before, but energy is carried in the wind and I'm thinking with the whole planet being in an energetic uproar they might be reacting to that.
interesting details/thanks for sharing and I agree, think there's something energetic going on and they can sense it. my cats used to have beautiful coats, and now they're matted/I need to help them groom. almost like they're a couple of liberals;) but I still love them, they're my babies. have also noticed the bugs are acting different, used to have a ton of flies this time of year, now not so much.
Interesting you're seeing fewer bugs. I'm seeing more flying insects than usual, though not necessarily flies, but I have a lot of barn swallows and they keep the flies in check. It isn't just me thinking that because my farrier noticed it also.
