Dear Lord I lift up my friend to you. We ask your father that you would go before him and fight his battles. I pray that you would put heavenly your angels all around him, and throughout the surgery. I pray that the doctor would have wisdom and knowledge on how to repair his jar, so that it is a lifelong repair. I pray that you comfort this person, and give them tenacity and strength to make it through this difficult time. We ask that you put people into his life, that will be able to provide for him, and give him good ideas for liquid meals. Moreover we just pray for spiritual guidance, and continual seeking your faith Lord, during the difficult times. In Jesus name amen.
I recently went through ankle reconstruction, I was six weeks nonweightbearing, and then the boot for another six weeks. I’m just now being able to walk again. It was a long grueling process, and I had a lot of depression and dark times. These are all normal feelings. Just make sure you’re reading your Bible every day. One saw them, and one proverb. That 10 minute exercise will help lift your spirit.

My mom recently had stomach surgery, and I had to take care of her. I found a lot of really great liquid recipes to help her heal rapidly. I made lots of chocolate shakes, strawberry shakes, and there are different things that you can do like take a can of Progresso soup, and put it in a blender and blend it up, and then you can drink that. I think the ability to have a substance that will come through a straw for you will be key. You may be able to get Jell-O, and pudding and stuff like that if you have a big thick straw. Just do a little research on it, and I’m sure you’ll find different things that you can eat that you would be surprised.
I don’t envy you with the situation you’re going to be going through. But God will get you through it, and yes the world sucks right now, but the sky is definitely not falling. I had the same concerns as you with my foot, because I couldn’t even walk. If things went down, I would be completely vulnerable. Just remember you have two arms and two legs to help you move around, and you will be mobile. That will be key if crap goes down.
You’re very welcome. Also one more really important thing. Is to stay hydrated. You can buy Pedialyte sticks, their powder, and you just put them in a bottle of water. Whenever you take your daily medication or daily vitamins and stuff like that, you can just drink it with your Pedialyte water. I think that really helped me with my healing, because without the proper electrolytes, your body struggles to do anything.
