I keep seeing leftoids point to the so-called balanced budget under Bill Clinton led to the US taking in more money than it spent.

It's a Democrat, so I know it's bullshit.

Yep, all that.

But to be put simply, back then Dems cared about balancing the budget, and it was easy to do when economic times were good and the taxes were flowing in.

Then Bush and the DS came along and started a couple of wars.
