I had to lay on an ER bed while both my hands had the skin peeled off of them to save them. Medical term debride is what they called it. I got injured and got staph infection.
I was 17. It hurt like nothing else. Bad fever couldn't have any pain killers. Just me and some poor ER intern who probably suffered from ptsd and nightmares for years after.
