How about when the man wants to be the head of the household, the “guide”, the boss or whatever you want to call him, but then only wants to sit on his lazy ass? So the wife can be the bread winner, raise the children, be the mother and father, help with homework, cook and clean and also take care of the yard and repairs of the house? Maybe some men should think about why women are done with marriage and family. Because there are plenty of the above type of men out there. I am not saying the same isn’t true of women, because it is. Some women want to play house. They don’t or won’t learn to cook (so they buy prepared food every night), don’t clean, don’t care about raising children (but they love the attention of being pregnant and use it as an excuse), want their student loans paid off, don’t want to work, want the biggest engagement ring, want a certain type of house. Yes both sexes have big issues/problems. Then when the marriage falls apart because of all the above, children become the pawns. So, I think both sides are becoming a little shy regarding marriage and family.
