In my unit we are finally getting notified that they are going to deny our Religious Accommodation Requests for the covid vaccine, on the grounds that we are not deployable assets without it. However, if you have HIV that is fine. We can still appeal it at this point, but I do not have it in me to continue to fight to stay in an organization that I no longer have trust in my leadership or confidence in the mission.

Find me a fighter jet operated by civilians, and I will be the best damn crew chief you can find. :)
Might have better luck finding an F16, they are being used as targets now. :(
You may just have to resort to working for regional airlines or private. Mainline, like the big 3 or 4, are not hiring unvaccinated
Fortunately I am Air National Guard so not my full time gig. I work in Cybersecurity in the civilian world.
I feel the same thing. Unvaxxed Military Police (Navy MA). I can reschedule my drill weekends now, but cannot be deployed. If we were poised to deploy, I have great concern that it would be for a legitimate reason. Even all the soldiers who died in the Middle East, for what? Just to pull out, leaving civilians behind. F the war mongerers Dems and RINOS. They are the scum of society. I’m trying to get a new job, pays double, but the vax most likely will prevent me. (Or lack of vax 😂). Oh well. If I do get it. The reserves would be for sure a negative impact to the point where I couldn’t justify staying in, which I can already hardly do.
I just had a mental image of a guy comically hAxXor'ing his way into a database furiously slapping a keyboard while flying a jet fighter.
KEK, that is not far from the truth with the latest generations of fighters and bombers. Not saying which airframe I work on, but it takes the pilots about an hour to program the mission before they can taxi for takeoff. Always fun when it is freezing cold, and the crew chief has to stand out in front of the jet in the cold waiting for the pilot to flash the taxi lights indicating they are ready to taxi.
