I'm not a doctor but survey says 130mg potassium iodide per day for an adult.

Lugols iodine is easy to find and I suggest 6 drops in a pint of water once/day, or more if in an irradiated area. Colloidal iodine is probably more bioavailable and I get mine below. I use the same dosage.
