It's different kinds of bombs. A fission one is an explosive device that causes a fission reaction, liberating all the energy within the atoms in an instant major fireball (thermal energy liberation), shockwave ( kinetic energy) and an EMP (electromagnetic)

Dirty bombs are conventional explosives used to disperse as much radioactive material in the widest area possible. In this case, u/infidel440, it will be radioactive dust sticking to everything in the area and emmiting radiation in a slower pace, but being extremely dangerous to every person in the area.
