People aren't going to start taking things seriously until they start feeling the pain.
If the federal government (ala EPA) is putting unreasonable demands on ERCOT to support their "Green" initiatives, ERCOT should stop bending over backwards to meet them. They're just going to ratchet down tighter next year, and it's not going to stop until people get outraged and demand change. And that's not going to happen until they spend a few days baking in 80+ degree houses and sorting through hundreds of dollars in spoiled food.
This is exactly the thinking we need. If you comb through Q drops and are autistic enough... You are right on the money. I don't mean this in any negative way btw, just glad I've seen one other person on GAW with this thinking. So far I've only seen them on 8kun and zero irl.
