The NYT has been owned by the Morgan family since it's beginning. They have been a main driver of "the narrative" for a century and a half. "All the news that's fit to print" is really "All the stories we want to get out there (some of which we made up), and none of the stuff we want to remain hidden."
It's just weird. If EVER there was a time in history where the American people stand up in force and demand change, this is it. Also, it's closer to 90% of Americans that think the country is heading in the wrong direction. That's mind blowing. At any other time in US history, like when elections mattered, you'd have people jumping from D to R right now, knowing their careers are over if they stay on the sinking ship. None of them are, and that is just weird to me. No political ship has ever sunk as hard and fast as Joe Biden's, yet no one is jumping ship. There has to be a reason for this. Either A) They know votes don't matter. Or B) They aren't being allowed to leave. Something is up, and I look forward to seeing why they aren't leaving in droves.
Dry that one out, you could fertilize the lawn.
