Be polite and professional in your interview.
They were extremely friendly and very accommodating. I am also grateful they saw me as valuable and look forward to helping them kick butt in the industry.
Take a chance no matter what the listed job requirements are. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by offering them something of value. YOU.
I actually wanted to post something similar here. I got a job offer from a company in Chicago. They require the covid-19 shot, and I asked them to provide in writing up front that I would never be required to get any vaccine as a condition of employment. They said no and I walked. It would have been a 20% pay increase and I know the manager really, really wanted me to take the job, but I'm sticking to my guns. I will not get the poison death shot. I even cited Pfizer data in my letter. I honestly thought for sure they would cave.
Don’t fret, you did the right thing.
