Just an update on me

As some of you probably seen yesterday i was talkin about how i found God while in jail for my alcoholism... just wanted to share that i attended my first ever AA meeting tonight.

Glad to know i have a faith based support system both here and in my actual community

As an alcoholic dry for 32 yrs I was never able to find a way to reach out to others (that felt right) until our church started a Celebrate Recovery (CR) a few months ago. Its been a Godsend. I can help others as a volunteer and as a side benefit it helps me as well with some issues. It would have been nice to have this program in my recovery. Can only highly recommend CR.
