It's been freely available knowledge right from the start that coronaviruses are common, have always existed, always will and that there's no 'magic cure' for them other than health diligence. Except of course the public at that point weren't familiar with the term 'coronavirus' in everyday parlance, so it was easy to proliferate as a scary piece of propaganda.
