Not that I have any or plan to get any, but what do people around here have against tattoos? I feel like people should be able to do whatever they want so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. Someone getting a tattoo doesn't hurt anyone else, and it's debatable to what extent it even hurts the individual getting it in the first place.
I get that it can be a matter of personal preference, some people like the looks of them, others don't. But I feel calling them "depraved" is going a bit far, isn't it?
And the "if it doesn't hurt anyone else, what is wrong with it?" is used to justify homosexuality and all sorts of sinful behavior. God is the judge of what is right and wrong, and in addition to some Bible verses mentioning that tattoos are not to be done, it doesn't take much thinking to realize, God made humans, He probably wouldn't be too happy with humans marking up the bodies He gave them.
Sort of like one or two drinks is not a big deal, but slobbering alcoholism is definitely a problem. Tattooing is essentially defacing the skin God gave you.

Seems that might depend upon whether they are satanic theme tatts, which many seem to be.

God say to judge not lest ye be judged. Guessing he likes to keep that boss task to himself.
It's the extreme tattooing that is depraved. https://newfitnessnews.co.uk/it-was-pretty-painful-andy-ruiz-jr-recounts-getting-bizarre-viral-tattoo/

God says he doesn't look upon the flesh but upon the heart.
You worry for God over something God doesn't see.
A pretty good discussion of the issue:
