Everyone is very polite with individual posts and comments, so maybe a more general remark will not offend anyone. No I'm not the grammar police, I just don't want us to look stupid. You know we are under scrutiny.

You bet they do as well as pronunciation. People, stop saying "pitcher" when you mean picture. It makes you sound very uneducated. And yes, my mom was an English teacher.
