Any time the subject of Women comes up, Heinlein goes into slobbering puppy mode describing them.
(AFAIK he had an open marriage and was a swinger basically - his views on this are detailed in "Stranger In a Strange Land" - which I found to be generally overrated I might add.)
Well like I say I haven't read much of him myself. However, "Starship Troopers" is pretty good - different than the movie as it's not satire (not to say Verhoeven didn't do a great job with his take). And "The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress" is actually really good.
(He does get blubbery about Women in each but it's only in a couple places. Both are worth reading IMO. I have not ventured into his other major works at this time so can't comment further.)
I am not one of the 3 people who understood your refence... splain your 2 part comment to us apes?

Ahh, nice. He's an author I hadn't encountered. Sounds like I'm not missing much, thanks!
