The only tie-in to 'nukes' is that some of the labs may have been overseen by staff from Los Alamos, which oversaw nuclear weapons development in the U.S..
Think of it this way. Black & Veach provided some staff to the biolabs.
Does that mean the biolabs are somehow connected to bridges built in the U.S... or to levees in Louisiana... or to Department of Energy projects? NO, it doesn't. The people who worked on the biolabs were a very, very tiny subset of those companies.
