I know this has been posted here many times but I neglected to copy. Am looking for reputable, reliable sellers for the physical stuff. Thanks in advance

https://www.goldenstatemint.com/ They are the only ones i know of that dont collect sales tax. Makes a big difference. 2 orders so far and no issues
Sales tax is dependent on what state you live in, I've not paid sales taxes from any dealers local or online as my state doesn't tax precious metals.
Well for me its the only one i dont pay. So that makes a big difference
Thank you
Your welcome, 3 orders now, ;)
All the big dealers are fine.
I use JMbullion. I'm a veteran and get proffered pricing. If you have a local coin shop nearby, use them first. If you purchase online and have it shipped, DO NOT ship via USPS. I have had 2 packages stolen contain PMs. Luckily I had issuance, but they were undoubtedly stolen.
Lots of variables. I use online places like APMEX, Golden State Mint, ebay (carefully), JM Bullion, Bold Precious Metals, USMint, any Mint. —dismecoins—
Decisions on what you want to do. For instance for me my goal is my children to inherit it after I pass. So this makes me a collector more than a stacker in a sense. I like numismatics and stacking though and I am still only a few years into it.
Others have stacked for decades and they only stack one type of physical gold, silver, platinum.
If you want to stack one type and silver and gold the best is the local coin shop. The premiums will be less and will be stable. When you have varieties it becomes more of a hassle to sell and this is why I do varieties so my kids will make fun of me-hopefully. I get stuff from all around the world. I like rounds the least bit others like them the best.
When the need arises and I do need to use what I have the end is still the value of the weight and what people will trade for. Numismatic value is inflated due to supply and demand for said individual piece and only to a collector.
Be careful.

You don't store gold or silver. You lose it at the bottom of a lake.
In my house
Would a fireproof and theft proof safe in your house work?
I’m not worried about gold or silver catching fire but I do have a 6 ft ttall gun safe that had to be secured with cement when I purchased it decades ago. I would be storing there
never trust a bank...especially in these times. If you can't stash in your home then you could always bury it.
Never a safety deposit box. Not your keys not your coins
Especially as the police can visit a bank with a single warrant to search all of the boxes in the vault and then it has up to you to prove ownership to get it back. It's happened before.
Local coin shop is best
Ok, when you say local coin shop, pawn shop comes to mind. Can you elaborate further?
Well you might find something at a pawn shop, but buyer beware. Local coin shops are exactly what the name implies. Small store front, dealing in coins and collectibles, usually a staple of the community for years. I would recommend trying out a few in your area. Ask questions and get a feel for who they are. Just search your town and coins, should have a couple in a 30 mile radius
