Those are facts, not assumptions.

And yeah he could have said anything, but he went with covid because that was a perfect cover story given optics at the time.

Are you suggesting that it wasn't a cover story and Trump was really sick? Knowing that everything in the media is disinfo? That claim is a lot harder for me to accept without concrete evidence.
