Their "reasoning" is because of drug dealers use the mylar bags and they block odors and aromas of what's inside, making it easier to smuggle.

We know it's to control preppers and what they do for themselves.

We bought a case of the big bags many months ago, and just got a shipment of dessicant packs and little bags for our freeze drying.
