So, yesterday I finished recording and mixing a new song about an historical figure: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrian_Carton_de_Wiart

The lyrics are about how historians tell us he was the ultimate soldier though in his own autobiography, he appears to be a modest and flegmatic man. Someone relatable. The only belligerent thing he writes about himself is « Frankly, I enjoyed the (first world) war. ».

Keep in mind he lost an eye, a hand, got shot plenty of time and had a bad leg but still went through many wars and died at 83.
