Never did understand these congressional hearing rules. Seems like you couldn't 'convict' someone of breaking a law without a real due process. Bannon wasn't allowed to question any of the 'witnesses' (used loosely b/c half were just repeating hearsay) or present any type of defense. Does this carry any weight at all?
He wasn't tried by the committee, there was a separate 4 day trial for the contempt charges and he was convicted by a jury. This is just round 1 though, he's definitely going appeal it. He's always been a fighter.
