I don't recognize that item, is it a toy? This reminds me of an historical thing I read once. Back during the Napoleonic Wars, Prussian sharp shooters were issued newly designed air guns that could launch a fairly large, lethal projectile a couple hundred yards and Napoleon was losing officers to these gadgets. So he issued an edict that said any Prussian soldier captured with one of those air rifles would be summarily executed without trial. I'm surprised that air rifles did not gain as much popularity as today's rifles.... they were silent, easy to shoot, etc. Maybe they weigh too much to be useful.
