I too thought it was lunacy. I come from the school of there must be something to every "conspiracy", because since COVID they've all been proven plausible if not true. But to me FE was still beyond the pale.
Until a few guys in one of my Signal groups started talking about it so I said O.K. I'll watch a video. It literally took less than an hour to convince me that heliocentrism is a theory. The most fascinating thing to me about the FE movement is that most people tend to be measured, critical thinkers that are simply looking to amass facts. I haven't seen one person claim to have irrefutable evidence that the earth is flat. Vs. the other side that can only offer "this was settled centuries ago" "we have photos" "the astronauts" "you're stupid".
