In this first survey, I conclude that it’s reasonable (at the very least) to cast extreme doubt on union and education advocacy organizations claiming that pay and parental harassment are the primary issues for teachers leaving.
When salary is listed as a contributing factor, 93.35% of Midwestern teachers claim that their resignation is due to student behavior and progressive political activity required in their classrooms.
My wife was a 1st grade teacher for 17 years in 2 different states. She left +/- 10 years ago, due to common core. They threatened her to "comply" or she would no longer be found highly effective. That one word, "comply", caused her to resign. She was not shocked by the move to CRT. She putz around doing different crap for 7 years, and is now teaching at a home school co-op that cannot keep up with the demand due to the amount of people leaving the corrupt public school system.
As the worm turns.
