IMHO they are waiting for them to do something so egregious and awful that the normies won't play the game anymore. Think about a game of chess. if you know you're going to lose you can move your one remaining bishop and 3 or 4 pawns around over and over u til checkmate. then you can decide to have a rematch. But if you are of a caustic temper you will flip the board and the opponent will refuse to play with you ever again.
