Antidepressants do help people with depression LOL. Sure, if you want to argue about how exactly they help people, whatever. But they do work, and they often make a huge difference in people’s lives
Apparently ssri's are more like: pro-depression pills with a side of suicidal tendencies and a glazed-over emotional state. Something, something, ssri's aren't even as good as placebo- which makes them worse than taking nothing (LOL).
People need to stop making excuses for their inability to control their own thoughts/ actions, and consider their internal & external karmic burden. Then make a worthwhile change- instead of being a med-fag sheep. Forever unhealthy.
Anti-depressants are often used with other therapies as well. Whether it’s psychotherapy or behavioural strategies. I work as a counsellor and I’ve seen first hand how anti-depressants have worked in the lives of my clients (and some of my friends as well). Not everyone can be as strong as Shazxofshadilay, forever healthy
