So why doesn't the neighbor just take them in and give them a home, or you or another neighbor? Or put their pictures on social media and say they need homes as their owner passed away.
All shelters are overcrowded right now, and it could be from people dying from the vax, and/or from all the returns of pets adopted during “Covid,” and/or people losing their jobs from the vax, and/or inflation and no one can afford a pet now.
Yeah, they are called "covid pets" 🙄
Exactly what i knew would end up happening. Bteaks my heart too.
I assume people can't afford them.
Same will happen when there is a glut of used cars and real estate.
Our neighbor died after second jab in November. His dogs are still there. Other neighbor feeds them. We are rural so no one is coming to rescue them.

Hard to understand isn't it.
Cause dogs turn feral. And our shelter won’t take them, we called several times. Sheriff won’t do anything either.
There are shelters who will come get them, can you please share a location so someone can help?
or this could be a case of your confirmation bias. Maybe it is just an overcrowded shelter.

This could possibly happen with children...
I would help but I live in Chicago so if your hypothesis is correct I suspect that many will be abandoned and some will end up at my place anyway.
Poor puppies :-(
