I was never a liberal, but I remember my childhood vividly. Mainstream media and entertainment of the 80's and 90's always characterized good Christians like my parents as the problem with the world. So while my parents are doing charitable work and helping their fellow man, the left was promoting wanton infidelity and drug use while smearing us. From there it always felt like us vs a world of liars.
