I have problem with the timeline of earth but other than that, everything seems correct.
There are some creationists that believe the earth is about 6000 years old and that creation was a literal week. Perhaps that is true. God could certainly create anything He wanted, anyway He wanted. Something to think about.
I’m of the young earth faction. Because I find the Bible to be one of the most poetic pieces of literature the world has ever beheld. The creation story is 7 days. Day one, is the separation of light and dark. The first 1000 years we have the fall of man, and the promise of the seed of redemption (good vs evil). Day two the waters from the sky are separated (also note this is the only day in which God doesn’t mention that “He saw that it was good”. This marks the 2nd 1000 years in which he sent the flood. The 3rd day he parted water from land. In this 3rd millennium God parts the Red Sea and Israel becomes a nation. Day 4 the sun and the moon. Some of speculated this is the depictions of Christs ministry (the sun) and John the Baptist (the moon, a reflection of Christ) millennium 4000. Day 5 the fish and the birds, some speculate this is the building of the church with fishers of men spreading about globally. Day 6 Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to its kind cattle, creeping things, and beasts. Now we have the current millennium mankind and “beasts and creeping things” cohabitating . Day 7 is a millennium of rest, Christ returns and reigns his earthly kingdom in peace for 1000 years. In my belief we are in 6 on the cusp of seeing 7
Makes sense to me...and how the simplicity of this message is lost and distorted by those who seek to destroy. I know there is so much controversy and confusion about God, the Bible and Biblical times but once I recognized how well this fits everything it just all clicked into place. God is order not chaos.
ICR https://www.icr.org/ Great resource. The “millions and millions” of years the schools push is total bunk. Genetics reasearch supports we came from two people and with known telomere decay we know how many generations man goes back. Spoiler Alert: It’s thousands and not millions or billions.
The young creation theory is just the opinion of an Irish Bishop who extrapolated it from counting the generations. The Bible has been altered so many times by evil people over the centuries to confuse us.
The only thing that is hard and fast is that God loves us to a degree that is far beyond our comprehension and gave his son in order to save us and give us life eternal.
