So, you think this god is the "creator God of the Universe". I'm guessing he demanded his cut of the gold and virgins just to set an example. Obviously murdering anyone who doesn't do as you wish is all good as long as you have declared yourself "without sin". Ab and Isaac story was a test...yup. I just don't see YHWH as the fallen angels, which is who I think the other "gods" are.

He has. Who do you think he was referring to in John 8.44...and who was he talking to? Did you think he was talking about some "god" other than YHWH? Maybe there were multiple Yahweh's. Like, the one who started as a Canaanite (home of the hebrews) "lessor god" of copper but over time grew in power and demanded, in addition to blood sacrifice, goats, donkeys, gold, virgins, that the people worship him over any and all of the other local gods or suffer death, pestilence, attack by poisonous flying snakes...? I think that one was the serpent they built the big tent (first tabernacle) for and moved it around the desert for 400 years feeding it burnt sacrifices daily. Then of course you got the one who created the universe, right?
