In fairness, I've been prescribed albuterol for bronchitis but definitely something about the Resident is not right.

Yes you are correct. Albuterol opens the lung passages to breathe better. It is not to treat a cough.

Bronchitis is an inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from your lungs.
