I thought the dust storms from Africa and mostly the Sahara are the seeds to the temp differential and germination of the birth of storms that can become hurricanes if all other factors fall into place? Genuine question here.
Well, if course I don't wish the destruction on anyone. I'm sorry for your loss. My family in Houston survived Harvey but it was difficult. I am just thinking the whole state needs a massive amount of rain! Where I live it has only barely showered once for about 5 minutes since beginning of June and it has been well over 100 degrees nearly all summer! We are native Texans, but this is a hot summer and very dry!
