According to BioClandestine, Russia is supposed to be bringing its case about the biolabs to the UN this fall. No actual date on it yet. I wondered if it isn't just about the vote but also about being able to shut down that process, but I can't see how it would affect the case being carried out on Zoom or something.
I'm not into the whole Zoom/video call thing but it seems like the whole thing would have less "punch" if it wasn't presented in person. It also presents an opportunity for computer glitches, lost feeds etc. It would certainly be a lot easier to block people from talking and presenting evidence.
I also saw an article float by that asked "Do we still really need the UN?" I know it's a question that sensible people have been asking for a long time now but this time, it seemed to be coming from the other side. Why would they suddenly want to get rid of their pet?
