God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden with delicious fruits and vegetables and all kinds of good things to eat. Fish in the water, fowl in the air, and God had Adam name all the animals and for him to be a good steward of the earth. I don't recall anything in the Bible stating that we are to eat bugs. I do however know that the Bible said they sacrificed many animals and cooked lamb and beef for the priests in the Old Testament among other food sources. But this BUG EATING is not my forte. I was not born a lizard, frog or any other reptile or amphibian. I am made in the image of God. I am woman. Amen.
John the Baptist ate locusts and honey. Not saying we’re supposed to, but I always thought it was interesting that the Bible specifically mentioned his diet. Something about it was important enough to write down, but I could never figure out why.
Debated in some circles that the locusts mentioned could be the bean pods from a type of locust tree native to that region. Also known as a carob tree
Oh that makes way more sense. I’m still puzzled by why that line was included, but it being a local vegetable is probably correct. Thanks!
There is always meaning in little things in the scriptures. Sometimes they are the hardest to figure out, but the search is worth it.
Ah, that's right. I forgot about the locust tree! Makes sense.
That is interesting. Isn't it carob pods that the Prodigal Son was feeding to the pigs before he went back to his father?
It sounds like God wanted you to write it down for a reason. It may come in handy one day; you never know.
Honey is the healer of many ills. That is why the Deep State is trying to eradicate bee colonies.
Bee keepers used anti fungal peptide spray as a cure.
Demons probably love bugs. You will eat your bugs, own nothing, and be happy you bugot!!
I heard they were reptilians. A good possibility with these lizard people.
I had a pastor tell me one time Adam and Eve were actually vegetarians until the fall. He said there was no death until then so they didn’t kill any animals to eat until they were sent out. I thought that was interesting.
Yes! Not even animals ate other animals before sin.
Genesis 1:29–30
I believe he is correct.
I can see that happening. Sounds legit to me.
