Yeah the problem is "God wins" inspires that do-nothing drive Christian Fundamentalists pride themselves on touting, "I don't need to do anything, Paul said I've been saved by grace and God wins. I'm already secure."
Now... Far be it for me to judge. How you choose to live your life us between you and God. What I will point out, however, is the lasting damage that has come because of it. "I don't need to be friends with anyone, God wins and I accepted Jesus into my heart" except Jesus said to go and make disciples and to love your enemies...
If "God wins" is your motivator to actually do things, GREAT! Until it's official, we need to "fight" like He could still lose. And by "fight" I mean maintain focus on the real enemies while remembering to forgive Normies because they don't know. Paul said our battle is with the spirit and I agree with him. Would be nice if the rest of the Paulists remembered that instead of wasting time and energy attempting to shame people for living their lives...
why are you doing the mainstream media thing of pretending a whole group of people all think the same way? No real christian thinks the way you describe.
I was taught that we were created to do things. Adam and Eve were put in Eden to tend the garden. One of our best-loved hymns is "We'll Work Till Jesus Comes." The Egyptians had to grow and harvest wheat for seven years in a row and store it so that would have wheat for the seven years of famine. We have to keep working.
