Wait... Who? Do you mean Donna... Doctor Donna? Tate even bothered me before then, just from commercial for her show! Had no clue. Ha! I couldn't stand her, every adventure I keep hoping she would perish by some random event unrelated to the Doctor, or an event she caused with her own dumb mouth.
The show did not do us wrong on that tho, she got a fate worse than death. Spoilers....
She had to have her mind/soul wiped because her feeble mind could not handle the Tardis essence. Never to remember her time with the Doctor, if she does she will turn into a drooling vegetable. The Doctor wishes to forget their time together as well! Ha.
Even so, I think the woke that broke Who had nothing to do with gender time benders, gay captain Jack, Bill "lesbian" Potts, who had to either say or infer that she was lesbian in every scene she was in... Nope, and changing the Doctor to a woman was not it either.
The show started to get... preachy woke, stuff that stirs the pot in real life causing division and strife. The real Doctor only ever tries to achieve harmony for Earth and her people. The real Doctor would never do these things the real media like to puff up for their current agendas. Climate Change, Racism, Sexism, Gender Equality, Gun Rights, etc. Showing a fucked Earth in the future because of "Climate Change". Other crap like showing up in the past to stop a racist assassin or landing in witchcraft days and running around with a wand(sonic) while being a woman and then being surprised they think she is a witch... Just dumb.
The ruthless Doctor seems like the real Doctor "Hiding out as human", this other lady HAS to be a decoy, she is so dumb. Maybe it is a ploy to throw the Daleks off the trail because they have been poking around the metaverse since some of "The Daleks' Master Plan" has been leaked. Leaked into our world in 1983 and 2004. Two Doctor Who missing episodes found their way back to the archive in 1983, having been discovered in the basement of a Mormon church, for reasons unknown. These were episodes five and ten. Episode two was returned to the BBC in 2004 by a former BBC engineer.
Nice Doctor Who reference but also fuck Doctor Who for going woke now for replacing Rose (Billie Piper) with a tranny.
