Floor jacks?
They are used for leveling and supporting floors basicly just two pieces of pipe with screw insert on one end. Probably 50 or 60 dollers. If you use your basement as a shelter you want more support.
If your upper floors collapse you don't want all the debris in the basement. It's a cheep easy way to reinforce the floor.
Ooohhhh. House floor jacks. We don't have basements so a floor jack to me is for working on cars.
