The Tennessee General Assembly (TGA) passed Governor Bill Lee’s $52 billion budget, which called for a 30-day suspension of the tax on groceries.

We just concluded a school supply tax free weekend (annual) as well. They also suspended the License Plate tag tax for a year (July-June)

A sales tax holiday has also been approved on gun sales and safety devices beginning on July 1, 2022, and ending on June 30, 2023.

I will conclude I trust politicians very little, but when things like this occur its worth giving them a kudos.
