I don't see any drain in that floor. It should be at the lowest point. There must be one somewhere (if it had been a real swimming pool at one point), but I just don't see it. Did they just mop up the bloody mess afterwards?
Looks like a lot of orange/red staining on those tiles. (Blood?)
If this was originally built as an actual real indoor swimming pool, where are the handrails, steps, drains, built-in seats, windows or skylights, etc.? Or at least a ceiling fan to flush out the moisture? There are none. It also wouldn't have sharp seams where the floor and walls meet. That would be rounded.
It also wouldn't have electric lights on the floor if it was used as a swim pool.
Why does it have wooden handrails and platform if it was a pool?
Who thought hanging leather straps from the viewing deck would not be suspect?
