That has turned a large chunk of the population into hypochondriacs. Not surprisingly this is split along party lines. Democrats are 85% in favor of masks for public while Republicans are 69% against masks in public.
Figure 4 should not surprise anyone as it shows high household income levels do not wear masks as much as lower household income levels.
Have to consider too who is being polled. I won't take them because polls can be easily manipulated.
Also, I remember that the last time I participated, the pollster phrased the question in such a way that no matter how I answered, it would go against my stance. Thought at the time how easily someone who didn't really think about and take apart the question could be fooled.
