Took me a minute to find this again. I said in a previous post I didn't think she was assassinated and told people to provide evidence.

She was a cosponsor of the "Prohibition of Agricultural Land for the People of China Act" which was sponsored by Newhouse

EDIT: After going through this dive I still feel like she was pretty low level for this (1 of 20 cosponsors). It'd be pretty obvious if all 20 cosponsors and Newhouse were taken out over this bill. Motive seems unlikely now.

Motive could be a message. If the act is dismembered, then there might be more than meets the eye.
