Most vehicles made today are "fly by wire". gas,break,steering, are not connected directly to there respective systems like the good old days. They're now connected to sensors and devices that give false feed back to make it feel like you're doing something when in reality you're just activating a sensor. They are easily taken over by remote means and that's been demonstrated.
